REMUNERATION PROGRAM AND LEADERSHIP STYLE TOWARDS PERFORMANCE (A Case Study of The Regional Water Companies in The Province of West Java and Banten).


Remuneration is a reward given to employees based on the grading or the position and the resulting performance, the remuneration itself is utilized in order to improve the performance of employees to be more productive and better in providing public services. This study aims to determine and analyze the form of remuneration and leadership style on employees performance in the Regional Water Company (PDAM). The method used in this research is causality. The research data is obtained through the spreading of questionnaires accompanied by in depth-interviews with employees distributed to 111 persons at PDAM in the Province of West Java and Banten as respondents for 6 months from January to June 2016. Sampling collection technique is proportionate random sampling while analysis technique is multiple regression. The results of this research of remuneration program and leadership style can improve the performance of regional water company in the Province of West Java and Banten . The contribution of research to management is the importance of the company to have close attention to the ongoing remuneration program that is perceived on individual performance. In addition, the style of leadership in the company is also a pivotal factor that encourages the increase of employee performance.
