MANAGING TURNOVER INTENTION OF BEHAVIOR: (A Case Study On Employee Financial Services Industry in Tangerang, Indonesia)


Turnover intention of behaviour is a global competition issue and a concern for researchers and experts in the financial services industry. This issue can not be separated from a fact that financial services industry have not been able to maintain the quality of human resources that contributes for higher the turnover intention employee. Preserving employees who do not have the turnover intention of behaviour requires an understanding of the causes and factors that may affect the behaviour of the turnover intention. The purpose of this study is to examine for how to manage turnover intention employees in the marketing department of financial services. Testing the effect of group cohesiveness, job stress and job satisfaction towards reducing of turnover intention of behaviour. This research is a causality study. The research data are obtained through questionnaires accompanied by interviews distributed to the 105 employees of marketing department of financial services in Tangerang, as respondents during the six months from January until June 2016. The sampling techniques is proportionate random sampling while the analysis technique is multiple regressions. The results of this study indicate that not only the group cohesiveness factos negatively affects but also the job stress factors and job satisfaction have negatively influences the turnover intentions of behaviour. Contribution of the research is for the management of financial services industry to observe the psychological factor of group cohesiveness, which plays an important role in reducing turnover intention of employee of marketing job. Furthermore, managing job stress and job satisfaction can be used as a strategy to decrease the turnover intention of behaviour
