Safety Culture in Indonesia road Transport: Budaya Keselamatan pada Transportasi Jalan Indonesia

Transportation with all of its branches is dependent on infrastructure considering safety. Road transport has a large number of accidents, but they do not receive the same attention from media compared to those of other modes perceived as dramatic. The main objective of this research is to describe the facts and to help shift public behavior and attitude, influence policy and therefore contribute towards saving lives. The research is carried out by executing
literature review. The results of the research highlight the magnitude of casualties each year as a result of road traffic accidents and the lack of road safety awareness of public and road users.
