Queuing Analysis for Parking Stand (Apron) Operation At The Soekarno-Hatta International AIRPORT (SHIA)

Abstract--- Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (SHIA) is the biggest and largest Airport in
Indonesia. SHIA has 3 runways and 173 Parking Stands. The Aircraft Movements are 361,724.00
aircrafts per year in 2018. In this study, the number of aircrafts queuing for parking stands services
in 2018 was 180,862 aircrafts/year, or 495,5 aircrafts / day, or 0.34 aircrafts / minute or 2.96 minutes
/ aircraft. The average parking stand service time (1 / μ) = 1.89 hours / aircrafts or = 113.17 minutes
/ aircrafts or μ = 0.009 aircraft / minute.
The average number of the aircrafts queuing for the parking stand (Lq )= 0.0000000105 = 0 aircraft.
The average time of the aircraft queuing for the Parking Stand (Wq)= 0.0000000176 minutes= 0
minutes. The average number of aircraft are in the parking stand system (L or Ls) = 38.5 aircrafts.
The average spent time of the aircrafts in the parking stand system (W or Ws) = 113.17 minutes =
1.89 hours.
The average utilization of the parking stands (ρ) = 22.24 %.
